COVID-19 and Telehealth

While reactions to our ongoing crisis have ranged from media scare to sincere panic, I recognize that the marginalized folx who make up much of my practice are often among the most affected. For all the news available about public gatherings and responsible handwashing, few people are discussing the emotional safety tools required to cope with an ongoing crisis. Please take care of yourselves, whether that means reaching out between sessions or taking some time off from counseling to save money and energy. The Luminary offices where we have our appointments will remain open for the foreseeable future but while we are taking extra steps to limit foot traffic and maintain sanitization I wanted to make sure you were aware that I offer telehealth services via Google Meet. While I will still be coming into the office to meet with clients during the coming weeks, I understand that some clients may wish to refrain from moving around town. These online only sessions can be conducted via HIPAA- compliant video service.
